Our philosophy

• The rural population is the main actor in rural development and is based on their creativity and other vital capacities.
• Local-knowledge management is an essential element, emphasizing the value of the capacities of the population and spreading these capacities through processes of peer learning.
• Increase the dynamism of local actors and local governments in territorial development, strengthening their capacities.
• Promotion of alliances between public and private sectors, between rural and urban, sharing in planning and decision making about the resources used in territorial development.
• Break the vicious circle of environmental degradation and rural poverty, introducing sustainable management of natural resources by the rural population.
